Criminal Justice Law Enforcement
Earn your associate degree while simultaneously completing the 720 Law Enforcement Academy. This program equips you with the skills and knowledge to tackle the exciting challenges of police work, including criminal investigations, navigating the legal system, patrol procedures, crime scene protocol, and essential use-of-force and driving techniques. Graduate prepared to hit the ground running and make a difference, all while saving you five months of training and $5,000 in tuition.

Fire Medic
Your passion for helping others is matched only by your ability to stay calm in times of crisis. Making a difference is what moves you. You have found your purpose – become a fire medic. As a graduate of this two-year program, you’ll be cross-trained in fire protection/suppression and emergency medical services (EMS) at the advanced life support/paramedic level. You’ll be prepared for employment in fire-based EMS agencies such as rural and urban fire departments, airport public safety departments, and industrial/fire safety teams. Plus, you’ll be trained to respond to out-of-hospital medical/trauma emergencies, fire or HAZMAT emergencies, mass casualty incidents and/or special rescue operations in a community served by a full-time fire department.

Fire Protection Technician
The Fire Protection Technician Program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College prepares students for employment as Firefighters, EMTs, and Fire Inspectors on municipal fire departments, and for fire protection related careers within private industry. The objectives of the program include instructing qualified students who are seeking a career in the fire service and also updating firefighters and fire officers on changes within the fire service. Students have the opportunity to earn Firefighter Level I, Firefighter Level II, Certified Driver Operator/Pumper and Fire Inspector I state certifications as well as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic) license while in the program. As a graduate of the Fire Protection Technician Program, individuals will be prepared for entry level positions in municipal and rural fire departments throughout the State.
